Eagle Warranty Corporation Eagle Warranty refuses to cover Internal Engine Parts! Eynon Pennsylvania

Buyer Beware! This warranty company does not respond well to claims. I have had the policy for 6 months, paid $1800 for the 4 year unlimited miles warranty on a 2005 Expedition with 34,000 miles. A cam-shaft phaser went bad and needs replacement. Approx. $675. They refused to cover because it does not "meet their engine requirements" as an internally lubricated part. Mind you, this is a necessary part, under the engine valve covers, and is lubricated! Bogus! Just a way for them not to cover parts.

I will complain to BBB and Consumer Affairs agency but it probably will not do much good. I Argued with Eagle Warranty, Claims: Derek @ Ext. 2103, Joe @ ext. 2102, Corey, @ ext. 2003. I will go further, but I doubt it will help given the complaints this company has had. (READ PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS!) Just for fun I might hire a lawyer. I have the money and this just pisses me off! Feel bad for those who need this warranty.

Word of warning! DO NOT CANCEL your policy. There is no refund! You might as well hang on to it and perhaps you will get some repair covered, at some point. There is not much you can do except complain and make others aware of the problems with this company. My recommendation is to never buy these type of warranties. I just feel like I got taken, had "sucker" stamped on my forehead. Oh well....
