EAGLE WARRANTY CORPORATION Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Eynon Pennsylvania

I bought a used car in March of 2009, I recieved a Eagel Warranty with my purchase.. I am 69 yrs. old and a woman......I saved two years for this little SUV....from a reputatal dealer...(I thought)....I bought 4 new tires, a new battery and windshield wipers after buying it....I had a strange noise coming from the rear of the SUV, thought it could be trouble with my new tires hitting against something...

Took it back to the dealership where I got my tires and they told me it sounded like there was trouble in the rear end and they did not do that work there, but suggested a shop (same dealership) where they did do work on this type of work....Took it there, after not hearing from them for a week I called....seems like they were having problems with Eagle Warranty approving the work.....

I called Eagel to find out what the hold up was, the agent who was handling this told me that the shop was charging too much, they would not approve the money and I should take it to a transmission shop of my choice...It cost me $106.00 to have them diaganois my problem. Had to have a wrecker tow my car to a transmission shop to have it worked on....Mind you, this has already been diagnoised, but procedure was that the transmission shop had to do another one on it....It was determined that the rear wheel bearings on both sides were grinded up, inner and out seals were leaking and needed brake shoes ....

After a period of a week, Eagle Warranty again denied my claim.....That work was not covered by the warranty!...???? They were the ones to told to to take it to a transmission shop because the other shop was too costly....To me this was a total rip off, the warranty from Eagle is not worth the paper it was written on....People, beware!!!... they will not help you in any situation....Also, I had to pay another $95. for the towing charges...Do not use this company!!
