Ebay sent me an e-mail advertising they would send me a free kit to start making money on their site. I went through all the pages without seeing anything but free kit information. The pages show books and specifically ask for shipping information. the third page asks for a credit card number for $1.97 to pay for shipping for the free kit. No kit was ever delivered.

I saw a charge on my credit card for $69.95 and promptly called to cancel any service that I was not aware I was being charged for. The customer service person would NOT refund that charge since 30 days had passed since I signed up for this offer saying that this notice of a charge is in the terms and conditions which is a tiny link on the web pages.

The information that says this is a 30 day trial and that you will be charged more money later does NOT show up any where that is clearly visable on the web pages. I feel Ebay should refund the money since the information was not clearly displayed and I did not use the web page they say the $69.95 paid for.

No kit was mailed and the web page even shows a US postal box and states that S/H not included...apparently all this was suppose to be downloaded stuff not actual books. This offer is not what it appears to be at all but a total rip off without any notice to the consumer.

HI, sounds like the email you got was from a Company other than Ebay advertising the Ebay Kit.

as far as I know Ebay does not sell any Kit for selling on their site.

I believe you responded to a email from a company trying to sell info on how to Sell on Ebay.

You can contact your credit card company to do a reversal of the charges on your credit card, and I think there is a way to put a stop payment on any other future charges that the company might try to do in the future.

Your credit card statement should have a phone number next to the charge for the Ebay Kit that would be the phone number of the company that did the charge to your card, sometimes it may not look like a phone number as they don't always put the dashes in between the numbers so you have to check it out to see if it is on there or not.

hope this helps you out.

If you want to Sell on ebay just go to the Ebay site and sign up to Sell and you can pretty much figure it out yourself on how to sell stuff on there
