eBay Account Suspension San Jose, California

I received the bad buyer behavior message as well and a suspension of my buying account only for 14 days.I just quit ebay for good after talking with "customer support".

I have to wait 6 months before I am free of ebay! I have  no open transactions or anything but they will not close my account for another 5 months.

I had over 1500 positive feedback at 100% but really don't sell on ebay. I sold 4 items there but I could not afford their fees! I had been a member since Dec. 2001.

My ripoff report is Jan.21.

I told customer support that I could not change my bad buying behavior behavior if they refused to tell me what it was! I was put on hold and spent about 1 hour while this ebay rep tried to come up with a reason. No reason was ever disclosed to me. I searched the ebay website and found nothing I did wrong.

The reps suggestion was to use only 1 seller; how crazy is that?! I repair laptops so I probably buy in a similar fashion to you.  I did get a message prior to my suspension message saying they could see I was having issues with sellers and suggestions to only buy from sellers w/high positive feedback and to ask questions of sellers. I did that anyway so I paid no attention to the message. I probably had less than 5% issues over the last 12 months and they were mainly worked out w/o filing an ebay buyer protection case.

Most of my issues with sellers was their misrepresentation of the item in the auction description. A b950 processor is not and i5 processor; how was I to know I should ask them if they were lying in their description. An hp1130nr listed but received a hp 110nr( NOT THE SAME)!Parcel post w/o tracking is not the same as priority mail I paid for; when this did arrive weeks later, it was not the item I purchased! These  3 sellers all had 100% feedback! Feedback is meaningless! A laptop w/ a formatted hard drive included as stated in description is not the same as a laptop w/no hard drive.

Many of the sellers refunded the auctions I won and refused to mail item; this seemed only if I got a really good deal- that item was lost, stolen, or broken! The items that were not as described were always worth less than the described item ( except for once). Isn't it funny how all these sales transaction outcomes favor the seller? So much for the law of averages.

Will you really  miss this? I hope they throw all of us off and we can empower another auction site.
