Esurance Told me car was totaled then a month after loss told me it wasn't totaled after I bought another car Colorado

I was in a wreck.  Insurance took a week to even send an adjuster to verify damage.  I was told my jeep was totaled and that I had 48 hours to give back rental.  I was told and sent a copy of the check that was written to my lender.

 I needed a settlement breakdown from eesurance showing how they got to the total of the check.  I called hoping any agent could provide that and they said I needed to speak to a specific person.   I called and emailed her and no response after 24 hours.  So I called the person who initially contacted me to get his help.  He emailed her and no response.  Then I emailed him back and he emailed the ladies manager.

 The manager of the loss department called me at the end of 48 hours and told me the reason they did not send the settlement breakdown is because they were going to cancel the check becuase they had new information that my car was not a total loss.  This is one week after they supposedly issued a check.  I Already purchased a car.  I wanted to keep my jeep and have no way of returning the car I purchased.  esurance asked me to send them my sales agreement and they will follow thru with the claim.  That is not the point I wanted to keep my jeep and have no other choice now but to keep the car I just purchased.  Do I have any recourse against esurance for the way they handled my claim.
