Like so many others, I clicked on a link to check my FICO score and found a charge on my debit card the next month for $21.95.
Experian claims that I "signed up" for their monthy service and agreed to the charge. When I disputed they refused to reverse the charge.
This is the behavior you'd expect from some russian warez site not one of the largest credit reporting agencies in America. I can't imagine that more than 1% of their "customers" intended to sign up for their $21.95/mo. service, but Experian seems pretty happy with their business model of getting $21.95 out of each of their victims, then having them cancel pissed off.
They're just teaching douchiness and criminality in American business schools anymore. Bankers are little more than sneak theives. You're better of keeping your money in your mattress. Certainly you're better off never having anything to do with Experian.

- So are you trying to say that somehow they magically just figured out your Debit Card number? Of course not..so let me help you out a bit and fill in the step you just happen to leave out.
Like so many others, I clicked on a link to check my FICO score, entered in my Debit Card number without reading the terms and conditions as to what I was actually agreeing to, and found a charge on my debit card the next month for $21.95.
If you are still having a problem I actually underlined and bolded the missing step for you.
So no, this isn't a "RipOff", this is just a case of someone not actually taking responsibility for their lack of action and trying to blame somene else. Just be glad this as only $21.95 and not $2195. So think of this as a cheap lesson that before you decide to give away your personal financial information you actually read and fully understand what you are actually agreeing to.
