Glenn at ez auto also put a sticker illegally on this car as it wasnt able to pass inspection at other garage, He will not give my daughter back her deposit which I think is the right thing to do. She only had the car 6 weeks and she only was able to drive one week out of that. I think this place should be shut down they are nothing but lying crooks!! Glenn was very rude to me and even told my daughter I was a piece of work, real professional!!!! We had to give car back as we couldnt afford to fix what he wouldnt fix. Now mind you this was an as is vehicle with no warranty but he told my daughter he would fix engine light, and whatever mechanical was wrong with it . He told her it wouldnt start cuz we had to leave tank half full and use dry gas, helllllooooooo, it was the computer that runs the car. I feel he should have made things right with her and actually he did say he maybe could help her get into other car from him.......yeah we are all signed up for that.....no way!!!!! I dont want anyone to go through what we went through so do not go to ez auto in somerswoth, you will be treated very poorly and probably ripped off!!!!!

complaints unjustified

How can you justify EZ auto being responsible for that? You should have taken it to a reputable automotive service center before you purchased it. If they wouldn't allow you to do this then I wouldn't have bought the car!
Investigate your purchase!
Who am I? I'm a potential customer and I will have my interest checked over before I decide. This is how I found this forum on ez auto. Investigate before you buy.
I am not about to have my bank finance me $5800 towards my interested vehicle until I know it checks out. Fortunately I am an automotive technician and I know what to look for and if it needs anything I will decide if its worth it to me. If they wont let me look it over I wont buy it. Their loss, not mine! Moving on from you I notice other complaints and all I have to say is this, nobody has a crystal ball and when anyone buys a used vehicle from a used car dealer they must keep in mind they are auction vehicles or trade in's from bigger dealerships who wholesale them to the little guy who in turn re-sells the vehicle to the publi.
They may or may not have hidden problems but this just goes back to the "crystal ball theory".
Its not the used car dealers fault and I'm not going to have those complaints deter me from getting what I want if my potential purchase checks out clean and if for some reason I run into a hidden problem I'm not going to hold ez accountable for it, I will hold the people I get my drivetrain warranty from accountable.
Yes, I have a similar response to another complainer but ignorance forces me to do what I think is right.
Yes, I know who runs ez auto and no, we are not friends, they are a "USED" car dealer and I am a "potential" customer.
Like Ive mentioned before, you should have had your vehicle checked out by a reputable service station and when you get a list of "whats wrong" you decide then if its worth your investment.
Why I'm placing these rebuttals is because I'm in the automotive business and get tired of all the garage bashing that's out there!
Go to one garage and they will tell you that you never should have been to the other garage and same goes for the auto dealers. It goes back and forth like a tennis ball in the automotive industry.
So ending this rebuttal, if you want to buy a used vehicle have it checked out before you sign on the line and if they wont let you do this then you don't need to give them your money.

GEEZ~
I wonder who that last rebuttal could have been from??
"BUT" means NOTHING when your not a man of your word.
"BUT means EVERYthing when you are an honorable MAN.
Especially for an unsuspecting consumer

I too have had issues with EZ auto. SAME STORY about the inspection, my car has ball joints and wheel bearing issues. After arming myself with info from the NH DMV, I approached them about how they are LIABLE for the inspection of the vehicle as SOON as they put temporary tags on the car. They wanted to give me some song and dance about how the "30 day" rejection sticker is expired so they are not liable. I told them the DMV says a 30 day sticker does NOT exsist.
We all need to write a formal letter of complaint against them with all identifying information about cars and people, and with enough complaints they will lose their license to sell or inspect. Send to Concord, NH DMV
Food for thought

Now Glenn is telling me he could have had a saab mechanic fix this right up had we not taking it to another service station, I ask you after towing it to ez auto twice why in the world would we tow it to him again? He should have done diagnostic test like he said he would from the start, I am so angry and don't know what to do to make this right!!
