Our loan was sold to Fairbanks Capital approx. 2 1/2 years ago. We have had nothing but problems with them crediting our payments. They have added an exorbitant amount of interest, fees and payments. We have proof that we have made our payments on time but apparently that means nothing to them. We finally sold our house due to their harrassment and at closing they charged us with an extra $25K in fees, interest and payments. I have been on the phone with them numerous times and have faxed them our Western Union receipts to prove that we have been making payments for the last 16 months. Where do we turn to get our money back? I get no answers from them. Help!

Hi Donna,
I have been fighting them for 6 years and still fighting daily. What you want to do is make sure that you are calling the UT office. I found it through google. I have a note from a lady who was to credit back all fees to my account. I called one of the #s for the UT office, which ended up to be the wrong guy. However, he was one of the nicest people that I ever spoke to at Fairbanks. He emailed my complaint to about 10 different persons and he cc me on it.
