Fairbanks Capitol Corp. This is an absolutly EVIL Corporation, worse than Enron. evil dirt bags victimized many consumers Salt Lake City Utah .....

Our dealings with this evil entity began 2 days after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. This was a few months after our loan was sold to them. The lady who called was very nice, but said "Due to the recent tragedy, we are experiencing computer and payment processing problems. Your payment will show as late, but it will be corrected when things calm down. No late fees will be charged." Little did we know, that they used this digusting tactic to begin their string of 8:00 am phone calls on Saturday & Sunday requesting we pay them over the phone.

We told them that our records show the check had cleared prior to the due date, but the calls continued. We ordered all of our checks (showing payment processing on or before due date) and sent them to the "Customer Service Center", (aka black hole). This should obviously clear up the problem, right? Not with these idiots. The calls continue, but the information we ask & receive is always different. One person says we owe $950 in late fees, and 2 days later they call and say we are 3 months behind on our mortgage payments! Make up your mind! At this point, I figure that they are just incompetent and they can't legally do anything because I have all my records. I continue to accept the ridiculous calls, but they do wear you down.

Now, we want to re-finance. This is when they get really nasty. They know that you can now re-finance and avoid the pre-payment charges, but they come up with amounts owed to them for some outrageous sum. Of course, they will NEVER send you anything in writing, (except the frightening foreclosure letter) They also sent us this stupid video tape!!!!! Finally, they sent us a check in the mail for our monthly mortgage payment, no letter attached. We checked our records, and they cashed our check!!!! I thought it was a refund or something. Now, they say we are in default and have 90 days before they sell my home!!!!! I think am one of the lucky few out there who found a wonderful mortgage broker who is placing this loan elsewhere (at a much higher rate than I should pay!) to get rid of this absolutly EVIL (only word to describe) corporation.

You bet I will be either joining (or starting my own) class action lawsuit. Feel free to send a re-buttal to this. We all need to band together and write congressmen & congresswomen as well as senators about this company. I'm more than willing to appear on 60 Minutes or Prime Time to expose the crap this entity has started. Good hardworking people do not need to be subjected to this!!!!!

I urge you and any other Fairbanks victims from Wa State to either call, e-mail , or write the Wa Ag office immediately.

I too was victimized by Fairbanks and did an interview with Liz Rocca of KOMO news 4 last May.
At the time of the interview there were 42 complaints against Fairbanks Capital. Wa residents should be aware that Fairbanks Capital is doing business as an "Out of State Collection Agency". In order for the Ag Office to act we need all Wa residents who have been hurt by this company to come forwardand complain.

I to am from Washington state, we need to stick together , we have been to hell and back with these idiots, we have been fighting them for 2 months read my post from this week.

They will not send us nothing in writing to show what we owe they wont show us what we have paid and they will not return our phone calls and when we have got someone we never get them again, no one can help us at FairBanks.We leave unanswered messages we are now in foreclosure... they have done horrible things to us and said terrible things.

They are real low lifes. We have been on the phone a week straight trying to get them to fax a letter to my husbands annuity and us..... this morning NOTHING they have sent nothing and promised they would. We have a week left before they say they are taking our house.

FINALLY after numerous calls to many people and we have been passed down the line, today we get a call from a guy from PMI who said to call these numbers at fairbanks and then gave us his if we got no where, well we got no where... no one would help us AGAIN, so we called him back he seemed irritated, so he made a few calls and we did a 3 way and things are looking better today!!

BUT when this is over it wont be over for me I will fight what they have done to us til they are gone. I will make it my job to write letters and investigate everything they have done there is more to this.. we are on an adjusted rate and we are still paying a high rate.They have no answers for us. Why are we still paying high rates?

Hang in there and please respond to this from Washington we need to stick together I have lots of info and Im not done with them!!!!!

Maybe PMI has stepped in and will truly do something to get rid of these leeches.
