First Credit Of America took money out of my checking acct, after dept was paid Chicago Illinois

This company called me and was collecting for a bill i really did owe on, they had all the correct info, never did I dought them, untill they called to tell me they will not be collecting for this company which I owed the dept too, and that I would need to notify that company and set somthing else up, so I assumed they would no longer take money out of our account ( checking ) well they did and trying to get them to refund it has been a nightmare, they have given us the big runaround, never refunding the amount and it also made my account go into the negative,which it would not have done if not been fore them pulling money out. I have spoke to lots of " managers" there and they all say the money will be refunded, but it never does happen, then they tell you they have to call you back with a confirmation code and they say they will call back in ten minites and they never do,it is a scam I am finding out... but what are you soposed to do when people keep insisting that you pay them and it is your credit that this happens with?
