I, like many of the others, applied for the Legacy Visa Card through First National Bank and have not been able to use the card due to declining at the checkouts. I thought at first that it was because I had an over the limit fee (my limit being $250) and started checking my statements when they came in. They have so many different fees and charges for services that I cannot take off the card nor have I been able to cancel the card.

I call the number on the back of the card and get a recording that states to call back during office hours or a the phone just rings and no one answers. If I do not pay my $30 payment each month, they call me to set up a payment and then send my a letter confirming my payment. However, each month I pay a little more than the fee, but my balance never goes below the $250 credit limit, which makes me have an over-the-limit fee of $29 each month. What is going on with this company? They have been making so much money off of me and I have gotten nothing in return!

First National Credit Card

AUTHOR: Jbeck - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 04, 2007

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough? I have yet to be able to charge on my credit card because of the charges the credit card company has come up with for this account. I have never charged anything on this card to this day. My APR is 18.90% and the charges they include are participation fees, membership fees and cash advances that are referenced as finance charges. every month there are more mysterious charges on this card.

However, I reluctantly pay it every month and pay $60 a month, not the $30 that is the minimum due. My balance is now under the limit, but why should I have to pay $60 a month for something that I cannot even use at the registers because it is declined most of the time? I have tried to cancel this card, but have had no luck in making contact with a human on the other end of the phone. I am not giving up. I would not recommend this card nor this company to anyone else. In short, I was suckered!

Tried paying more than the minimum due??

What is the interest rate?? How much is charged on the card?? Sounds like you maxed it out and are trying to get by on more than the minimum due. That's not fraud?? The only way you can climb out of this is to start paying more than the minimum amount the card company wants. If you can't or don't want to do that then you are obviously over extended.

Instead of 30 send 50 dollars that should help out. Or just cancel the card and try to go some where else.
