Floam false and misleading advertising and very dishonest marketing Internet

Floam is a very aggressive, dishonest company, as you will see by the following details. I placed an order, online, as I was unable to get through on their toll free number, the lines were jammed.

It will not let you scroll through the website without credit card information. Once you type in the required info, it describes the various packages they offer. It is customary to put all items you might want into a shopping basket, and then review before making a final decision. All websites I've ever bought from did this - without exception - and then they ask are you sure you want to order, etc. This one doesn't. So in effect, you think you're just going thorugh marking various packages you want to review, but at the end of the shopping, when you think you're going to check out, it ends and charges your card!

Okay, no problem, I'll call the company. Nope - can't get through. I tried for three weeks, every day. Okay, no problem, I'l email. Nope - no response. Finally, several weeks after Christmas I do get through on the phone line. I speak with a sympathetic phone operator who tells me they've had so many calls like mine that they've set up a website to handle the complaints. She's not an employee of floam, that the CS department is merely an outsourced separate company, and there's nothing they can do for me, not even adjust my $25.00 shipping charge (for $75.00 worth of products).

Okay, no problem, when it comes in, my grandaughter will be thrilled. I ordered 3 or 4 separate packages (I'm not sure as I wasn't able to review my order), so the box should be as big as she is, right? Nope - it's the size of a man's s****.> Clever in that I'm not sure technically they committed anything illegal. Just very, very shady. And what's a shame is that it's a very good product, that could have been around for quite a long time.
