I was called by this auto dealer after applying online for a auto loan. the finance department ladys name was Leslie. she called me on wednesday and said that she had me approved for a loan but that I must get there by Saturday to get the automobile. I told her that since we live in wisconsin and the drive was quite a ways for us

I had to talk with my husband before setting up the appointment. I also explained that my husband and I work different hours so I did not know if it would be possible to get there.

later that evening another person called me from there. I again explained that my husband was sleeping and that he works third shift. the next morning I made arrangements with my husband and I called there to make the appointment for that day because it was my only day off work. I told the person that I was not going to tolerate a " runaround" and that my husband needed to get home quickly so he could get some sleep for work. she said all I had to do was get to the dealership before 2:30 p.m on that day and sign the papers, then drive off with my new vehicle, she told me that they have over 1600 new and used cars to choose from and there would be no problem getting this done quickly.

then I asked for directions to the place since neither my husband or I knew chicago at all and that I am terrified of it. she gave me directions which turned out to very bad and it took us 2 hours to get there when it should have only taken a little over an hour.


when we got there we were supposed to see a person named emmy and instead this salesman just pushed his way and got us to talk to him even tho we told him we had an appointment with her. he had to fill out a bunch of papers and took our drivers licenses saying that he had to make copies but instead of giving them right back he put them in a envelope . then he proceeded to walk around saying he had to "check out our credit" and get approval. we told him several times that we were already approved.

he just did not want to listen to us. this went on for about an hour at which time we got fed up and demanded our licenses back. I kept telling him that my husband needed to get back home, he kept trying to delay us. when he finally gave our things back to us, he said " well, I guess you can go" after we got back into our car I called the dealership and talked to Leslie , told her what we had just been through, she asked me if anyone showed us any vehicles and I said no. she seemed really upset about this and I asked her where the 1600 vehicles were she did not answer me. then she asked who we spoke to I gave her the name of the salesman. She said she did not know anyone by that name, and that she would call me back in a few minutes after investigating this. She did not call.


I feel that anyone getting called by this dealership should be very wary and cautious as they are not very nice and the salesman that we dealt with was very rude, as if he was not interested in making a commission off a sale but was doing us a favor by being there. I would not ever go back there. they did not get a sale from me. all they got from me was a wasted day off from work. I am sure that we would have been there a very long time if we hadn't stood up for what we thought was rediculous. on our way home we stopped at another dealership and got treated exceptionally well.
