GE Money / GE Money Bank / Ultra Diamonds/GEMB Late Payment RIPOFF El Paso, / Orlando, Texas / Florida / South Dakota

I mail my payments several days before the due date. GE Money in Orlando, FL never seems to receive them in time to prevent a $29.00 late charge. Since I have no cortrol over what the Post Office does, I assumed they use the post mark ... silly me, WRONG. We all know what a*s-u-me does. GE Money says it is when they receive it. I wonder what warehouse it's sitting in this month. It takes 2-3 days to get to Orlando from Houston, not 7 or 9.

Never mind that I am paying 4 times the amount they require monthly. That doesn't cut any ice with them. Whack --- $29.00 late fee so they can post my payment when they feel like it.

This reminds me of B of A in California about 20 years ago. They were running the same kind of deal and got slapped with a class action law suit by the states AG. They lost to the tune of 29 mil. They returned most of the service charges.

Just seems to me that in this day and time there should be a better way to do business than to STEAL from your customers.
