Global Timeshares They promised our timeshare was sold. They got $2500.00 from us and said we would make settlement in 3 months. Brockton Massachusetts

We were contacted by Jerry Ryanof Global Timshares in December 2007. He said that we told him to call us if had someone to buy our timeshare. We told him we were not giving him any money because we have already been scamed from other companies. He promised us that he had a buyer and we would make settlement in 3 months and we had to pay him $2500.00 now for settlement.

He convinced us to do it and he told us that when Global Timshares called to confirm not to tell them it was sold because it was illegal but he promised again eveything was good. He called us to at least two weeks before we said okay. Three months went by and we never heard from him. I would call and leave messages and they never called back.

I finally got through to Jerry and he said they were waiting for a paper from the IRS and we would make settlement as soon as they paper came. He told me call every week to follow up but I could never reach him. I finally got Shannon (Jerry's assistance?) and she confirmed we were still waiting for a paper from the IRS and he would to make a settelment date. This is already April 2008.

I would call weekly to get and update and they promsed they would call back and we never once got a call back from anyone. I called again and spoke with Jerry after calling them weekly and I asked him if this was for real because we using this money for out daughter's wedding and I trusted him swore he was telling the truth and he would not let us down. I never heard from them and I would call to follow up like Jerry told me to.

I got to speak with Kyle who said he was taking over the settlement because he was Jerry's assistant. He told me that because I call to folllow up and that he could not get his job done because he has to call me to give me updates. He never called me back. This June 2008 now. He told it was going to take twice as along to sell my timeshare that was suppose to be already sold longer because I was bothering him. He was rude and yelling at me and had me so upset and twisted my works around. He was very unprofessional.

My husband called after that and Kyle was not so nice to him either and threatened us and told us to contact a lawyer or whoever because it would cost us more than $2500.00 to get our money back and we would lose another $2500.00. I also called Customer Service and they are a joke too. They told me that Kyle (Assistant of Jerry's they say)is the manager of that office and he would never treat anyone that way and twisted everything around and made everything our fault.

They did not help me at all. This is what we get for trusting people. This is August 1, 2008 and we have not heard anything from Global Timeshares. I hope these reports help stop these companies from taking anyone else money.
