GMAC I filed bankruptcy in 2009 and GMAC keeps trying to come after me, despite my contacting them to surrender the property. Waterloo, Iowa
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Stop Government-owned GMAC from Bullying Taxpayers
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: National Mortgage Settlement
I filed bankruptcy in 2009 and attempted to surrender my house in FL to GMAC, stating I was financially wiped out. Since that time, GMAC has refused to acknowledge my filing and keeps filing summons, using a different law firm in FL each time. In Jan 2012, I appeared in court and the judge threw the case out and advised the law firm not to refile.
I recently received another summons using a different cover sheet and basically the same information from a different firm. I want this to end but I'm not sure how to go about this.

The National Mortgage Settlement was a joke. Sign my petition on the change website to really Make Taxpayer-Owned Ally Financial Accountable for its violations of Our Constitutional Rights. Please join this campaign: http://chn.ge/1iz3BwV. They are too big for anyone to make a difference alone.

Go to LinkedIn, it's free and the NMS group is public. The government's Monitor Joseph Smith is accountable for sponsoring a working session and this is what he wants to hear, so he can help.
Billions in penalties were assessed so GMAC Ally has a pool of funds they're required to give back to homeowners like you so this LinkedIn group wants your examples and can help.
LinkedIn is simple - don't worry about the hundred profile questions, skip to the end and just add your email and contact info.
Good luck
