I thought I was participating in a free trial of a weight loss product. I submitted my credit card for shipping and handling charges. when the product arrived, the ingredient list indicated that it was a laxative.

I attempted to cancel by email and was told a representative would get back to me in 24 hours with an RA number. No one did and I spent 45 minutes the next day on the phone cancelling the order and getting the RA number. I mailed the product back.

Despite all this, my credit card was charged for the full price of the product and I received an email stating that I had "purchased" a 'buy now pay later' offer. I have filed a BBB complaint and will notify the state attorney general--this company needs to be shut down--the products are garbage (I am a nurse and was shocked when I read the ingredient list)

Anyone want to file a class action law suit, count me in..........

Carole,

We understand also that you were unsatisfied with the ingredients that were included in our product. We provided a list of our product ingredients on the frequently asked questions link on the order page.
It appears as though you initially may have been having a problem contacting our company for the return authorization number to send back your order. We do apologize for this issue which has since been resolved. You were advised at the time you ordered that if the products are not received back within the trial period you would be billed. After you are billed you would be reimbursed for the products once received as long as they are received back within 30 days from your date of purchase. It sounds as though you were returning your trial order after the trial period had ended, in which case you would be refunded once the product arrives.
