First you berate the OP for spelling errors. Then you find the most obnoxious way possible to lecture them about the workings and repair of an Internal Combustion Engine. I hope you don't treat children and other defenceless people this way. Mean People Suck

It seems you are saying you went to Goodyear to get an oil change and oil pan leak corrected.  While there, it seems you are saying they recommended a higher viscosity oil which you agreed with and "ACCEPTED".  Then, on the way home, the check engine light came on, the engine was running rough to the point, when you stepped on the "BRAKE" peddle, the engine quit. 

Then, upon diagnosis of the second shop, there is an engine problem.  First, cylinders are "holes" which are cast into the engine block.  You cannot "replace" them!  (How do you take out one hole and put in another?)  If the second shop is honest, then it would appear what is wrong with the car had nothing to do with the Goodyear work.  Most low compression problems have developed over the long term. 

Low compression is typical with tired, worn out high mileage engines.  Although it is possible excessive wear due to lack of lubricant can lead to a compression loss, the lack of lubrication would have more likely showed up with destroyed bearings and knocking.  If somehow the second shop is willing to testify in small claims court that it was their professional opinion either the higher viscosity oil or lack of oil was the primary cause, then you may wish to file suit in said small claims court.
