Guthy/Renker CREPE ERASE FALSE ADVERTISING-ILLEGAL/UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD CHARGES Santa Monica, California

Basically I responded to an add for a one time use of Crepe Erase for $59.95 as advertised on TV. I was then sent a shipment for a charge of $179.00!   I then video taped the same false advertisement recording which came on TV again a few weeks later at the $59.95 price. They continueD to hit my credit card for $60.00 a month for the past 6 months!   I canceled it and declined the charge dealing with my credit card company over and over again! Tonight, I called CREPE ERASE and they acknowledged that the "account had been canceled" and no more shipments will be forthcoming.  BUT, they are refusing to honor my cancelation because it had been "more than 60 days".  I highly recommend that you DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.  YOU WILL REGRET IT.

THEY LIE ABOUT THE COSTS. STATED YOU AGREED TO A 'CONTINUOUS' CHARGE BY SIGNING UP, WHICH YOU KNOW YOU DID NOT. THEN CONTINUE TO SEND YOU THE PRODUCT AFTER THE CANCELATION AND EXPECT YOU TO DEAL WITH IT.
