Heartland America ripoff deceptive company Chaska Minnesota

Last fall I purchased a 14.4 volt Tornado cordless drill kit from Heartland America. Since I didn't have an immediate use for the drill it remained virtually unused until May of this year.

After using the drill approximately five times it stopped working altogether. I realize that the warranty period is over [Heartland only has a thirty day guarantee on tools] but when I contacted the company's customer service department I was simply told that the tool was out of warranty [and I think most people would agree that thirty days is essentially no warranty at all].

They did not offer me any help in attempting to get the tool repaired or in the way of an adjustment or replacement.

As I said before this tool was hardly used at all, and it was only used at my residence, not for commercial use. In my opinion Heartland sells a very poor quality of merchandise to the people unfortunate enough to do business with them, and offers nothing in the way of after the sale service to their customers.

I could not recommend doing business with this company to anyone because of their poor customer service.
