Home Depot - Husky Tools Husky Tools does not honor its warranty! Internet

Husky Tools - Guanteed for life!!! I broke a 15/16 socket (1/2" drive) in normal use and tried to get it replaced. FORGET ABOUT IT! No Home Depot in my area was about to break a new set to replace one socket. Went to their website and got the toll free number. After several attempts, was finally told that Husky will not honor the warranty since "the whole socket set was not defective". Have broken two more sockets since. These sockets are just plain CHEAP! Soft steel with a pretty chrome plating! Last Husky tool I will ever buy - sticking to Snap-on or Craftsman because they stand behind their product.

Frustrating I know, but this issue is with Husky Tools, but not with Home Depot. I would think if you used them a bit more the entire set would break and then you could have the entire set replaced! lol I am sorry you have expierenced this problem.
