Truck broke down and I managed to push it to a Valero gas station @ around 7:30-45. After telling the owner I would pick it up the next day and confirming by
telephone te next morning I return around 4:30-5:00 to find it had been towed by said company, all the while being in a normal spot next to other vehicles of similar condition.
No 24 period, requests made by phone to said company to pick up a set of work tools were denied, costing me a day of work. Absurdly high storage fees $215 if I were to pick it up the same day it was towed? a mere 3 hrs from time of tow and a total of 15hrs of total storage costing $215, $75 dollar a day storage fees? something is not right here.
Beware of J & J towing and Valero Gas station at the corner of Royal Palm/Copans SR 441. Margate, Fl.

You put your car on someones property

Sir,
If I broke down on your street, and pushed my car into your driveway, and left it. You would have it towed away. That is your right as the property owner. I am sure you were charged what the county, or city has regulated. It would not matter who towed your car/truck. The only diffrence is the distance back to the shops. The first person yall want to blame is the towing company. Do you think your silly little 200.00 would make or brake this company. I highly doubt it. You as a driver are responsible for your vehicle. Maybe you should by some towing insurance. It is very cheap to add to your policy. Or just pay for a tow truck to begin with. J&J wrecker service did no wrong here sir. Just like any other buisness they are there to turn a profit. Trust me with the cost to operate a towing buisness today profit is not that big. Most wrecker companies are in buisness because they like this kind of work not to rip you off. The insurance, and cost of equipment is very high. You should know your facts before you try to run down a persons buisness.

DON'T LEAVE YOUR CAR

YOU SHOULD NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR ON A BUSY HIGHWAY, THERE IS NO REASON WHY WE WOULD TAKE RIMS AND TIRES FROM THIS VEH. THE VEH WAS LEFT ON THE RD AND WAS TOWED BY FHP AND THE CHARGES ARE BROWARD COUNTY RATES AND IF YOU THE VEH WAS PICKUP EARLY THE CUSTOMER WOULD NOT OF BEEN CHARGED FOR STORAGE EVERY DAY SHE LEFT THE CAR HERE. ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT TOWING CO WILL ALWAYS BE THE BLAME OF ALL PROBLEMS. AND WE ARE EVEN AT FAULT.

I AM THE FIRST TO ADMIT THAT IF MY VEH WAS TOWED I WOULD BE MAD, ON TOP OF BEING MAD THAT IT BROKE DOWN. BUT I AM A PERSON WHO HANDLES MY PROBLEMS. IF I BROKE DOWN I WOULD TOW THE VEH AT THAT POINT..NOT LEAVING IT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. YOU CAN NOT LEAVE A CAR AT PERSONS HOUSE IF YOU BREAK DOWN THERE, AND THERE IS NO DIFFERNCE IF YOU BROKE DOWN AT A GAS STATION, NOW ABOUT THE CHARGES, I DO NOT RIP PEOPLE OFF. YOU WERE CHARGE THE RIGHT AMOUNTS FOR THE SIZE AND REASON FOR THE TOW.
