If you are one of the hard working american folks that has ordered their infomerial package, first cancel the monthley charges they will get you for, do not call in to speak with a start up specialist he or she will just try and sell you into the coaching program with hardcore sales tricks that will do nothing but put you in debt with little to no support.

The coahing program itself is an absolute joke.

I worked for the company and know all this first hand and feel terriable to all the people I sold the dream too. Of all the people I sold i never knew of one that did any deals with the program but know of dozens that called me back after their sessions still not knowing what to do. The coaches are not real estate experts like they tell you but are anybody hired off the street to read from a script and are paid per session and are in a rush to get you off the phone. Any thing you want to know about this company i can tell you.

BUT DONT LET THAT TELEMARKETER ON THE PHONE TRY AND COMMIT YOU TO A PROGRAM THAT DOES NOT WORK YOU CAN DO BETTER ON YOUR OWN.

THE MAN WHO RUNS THE COMPANY SHOULD BE IN JAIL FOR THE CRIMINALS AND DRUG ADDICTS HE HAS WORKING IN THE COMPANY HE CARES ABOUT NOHTING BUT MONEY AND SALES if you need anyhelp In a lawsuit let me know i am willing to help anybody that has been lied and scamed by them

I agree with you, some people employed here use strong arm sales tactics.

AUTHOR: Hugh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 24, 2007

Thank You!

Mr, South Cal, I appreciate you coming out and telling your side. I agree with you, some people employed here use strong arm sales tactics. I fotunately don't have to to do my job. But keep in mind, this is more of a want then a need. Everything you buy, whether off TV or in real life will come with an upsell. I did not post on this to argue the fact that this product works. Of course it does work, just not for everybody. It is a performace based type of product. It requires work and research to achieve results (On both ends). I am not here right a wrong, but I did get the response I was looking for in your previous posting. WE DO GIVE REFUNDS if its a legitmate reason. We comply with all regulations otherwise we wouldn't be in business. You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. Any business excepts a portion of bad reviews. Disneyland gets Thousands of complaints every year and yet is the happiest place on earth. I am sure your place of employment has had several complaints against yet you still work there. People get successfull without our help everyday. Many people have gone out there and done the system on thier own and made it work. Whether they do this or something else, they make thier own decisions. The only part they don't accept is the fact that thier decisions require accountability. Its easy to place blame or fault without looking in the mirror. Nobody twisted thier arm to grab thier wallet and do this. I am sorry that you were on of those... Most people have moved on sooner or later, I sincerely hope that this is not the reason you get out of bed every morning. I wish you and everybody the best of success and hope that financial independence finds everybody that reads this. Everything is a stepping stone to where you go from here. I have done what I set out to do, got the responses I was looking for and there will be no more postings from me here... God Bless and keep chasing the dream, I hope you catch it!!!

I do not work for this site as you suspect. You are completely incorrect.

You made that money fleecing other people into paying anywhere between $1,500 and $15,000+ out of theirs, for the same program and half coaching calls based on how much available credit line or funds you people were able to determine the person had. You have no such "Scholarship" there. Your company would rather make any sale and lower it's price calling it a "Scholarship" that to make no sale at all. It's interesting how you only talk about what you made, but said nothing about the outcomes of your customers who bought your garbage at such variation in prices paid for the same thing.

Your company and your former salesman named JAYDER SALAZAR, deliberately defrauded me as you might have already read before. The information you sell is nothing but free general public knowledge people can find themselves online or the Internet without having to pay you thousands to read us a script. I have 7 of my 10 coaching calls recorded on audio tape. Everything told to me consisted of nothing but free general public knowledge anyone could find using the Internet or the library for free. The problem with all of this is that prior to the sale, your company completely misrepresents the program into so much more than what it really is.

So I am making your company pay for all the waste of time, anger, and aggravation they caused me in the form of refunds to consumers defrauded in the same fashion. I have personally cost your company almost $100,000.00 in refunds within the last 8 months (legally) and proud of it. Now you come here crying foul, and think I work for this website when I don't.

The fact that you are posting here mentioning high placement in search engine results indicates that your company is being impacted by my advices and steps on these pages.

Your company is well deserving of not only the fines and lawsuits filed by your own state authorities, but of my personal "Mentoring of America refund revenge tally". Bottom line, if your company cheats and stiffs the wrong customer like me, your company will pay for it. Coming here and crying foul after you get hit back is not going to do anything for your cause.

So you've figured out how to cut and paste, well done. Mr. Southern Cal, I commend you for taking the time to respond. In all actuality, lets set the record straight. The fact that you say we made the news, who hasn't? Sorry your 15 minutes of fame is on the web, but beleive it or not, I watched the news as well. If you want to get to facts, then let's get to them shall we. I have been watching these posts for quite sometime. I do know that Rip Off Reports has a rebuttal internally that posts comments to slander companies. All this does is move them up the search engine list. Then they keep slandering the company until they are contacted by the company in question to solve the problem. Now keep in mind Mr. Southern Cal, Rip Off Report requests $50,000.00 CASH to remove anything posted about the company. You say we are a scam? I know of 2 companies that have fallen victim to this web site. Reid, in Hawaii, has received a refund, yet hasn't admitted in any posting. It amazes me that I post for the first time and 3 minutes after it posts, here you are. I think its no coincidence that you are that quick, I bet you just got to read it before it posted so that you could show your response to your boss. As far as my income Mr. Souther Cal, I made $210,000.00 last year working for someone else. Want to compare pay checks? Now for the original posting of this message, Mr. Salt Lake was correct, he used to be an employee, but branched off to start his own Telemarketing Floor. I am sure he is looking for people to help with lawyer fees for he's about out of money. People, I agree, wake up!!! Be accountable, be assertive, be smart. If you have a legitamate complaint, take some of the advice written by REAL people here, not people who work for rip off...

At the end of the day, you are simply just another employee who drives to work each day and has a boss to answer to (I don't by the way). You do not preach or practice the very methods or techniques you peddle, and for a reason.

If the program your people sold worked as you claim, you would have no incentive to have worked at an office for the last 3 years and answer to a boss or higher authority.

I won't even mention the fact that your people charge every person a totally different price for the same 10 half hour John Beck calls and a few software Cd's (between $1,500 and $15,000). Your people based the price on the available credit line of people credit cards.

Does Target charge one person $1,500 for the same plasma TV they just charged the previous customer in line $14,000 for, based on their credit line?

YOU ARE ON THE NEWS. CONGRADULATIONS:

The lawsuits filed against your company have been on the news.

Congratulations!

THE FOLLOWING SPEAKS FOR IT'S SELF:

On October 21, 2004 Mentoring of America, LLC entered into a settlement agreement with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division). According to the terms of the agreement, Mentoring of America, LLC agreed to pay a fine of $2,000 and comply with all provisions of the Consumer Sales Practices Act and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act in future consumer transactions in the state of Utah. Mentoring of America, LLC also agreed that within 30 days it would submit a completed application for telemarketing under the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and make refunds within ten days in the amounts previously agreed to with the Division to those consumers whose names were previously listed and others whose complaints were pending with the Division of Consumer Protection.

On October 28, 2005 Mentoring of America, LLC entered into a settlement agreement with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division). According to the terms of the agreement, Mentoring of America, LLC agreed to comply with all requirements of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Utah Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, Business Opportunity Act and all other laws and rules administered by the Division applicable to them. The company agreed to pay an administrative fine to the Division, and make refunds by December 31, 2005 to consumers referenced in the agreement. The company also agreed to resolve and refund, without Division action, all other consumer complaints similarly situated under the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, Utah Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and Utah Business Opportunity Act that are filed with the Division in the future and that occurred prior to this settlement agreement. The company further agreed to disclose in a clear and conspicuous manner the products and/or services represented in their sales presentations as well as whom will be providing those products and/or services. Nothing in the agreement should be construed as an admission of guilt or liability by Mentoring of America, LLC.

On April 4, 2006 the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (the Division) filed an amended complaint with the Third Judicial District Court of the State of Utah (the Court) against Mentoring of America LLC, John Beck Amazing Profits LLC, and Jeff Paul (MOA). Charges filed indicate MOA breached the settlement agreement dated October 28, 2005 by failing to file the disclosures required to sell assisted marketing plans; honor the three-day right to cancel; and reform its business practices. The complaint indicates that MOA violated the Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Business Opportunity Disclosure Act, and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act. The Division is seeking: damages and restitution for loss suffered by consumers to date; a fine for breach of the Settlement Agreement; an administrative fine for each deceptive act or practice found to have occurred; and for an order enjoining MOA all acts and practices in violation of the Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, and the Business Opportunity Act.

The attorneys for MOA have answered the complaint asking the Court to judge that the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act, the Business Opportunity Act, and the Consumer Sales Practices Act as codified in the Utah Code are unconstitutional and that the complaint be dismissed without prejudice.

Thank you for coming forward with your inside information on the operations of Mentoring of America.

Based on your personal experience and knowledge having worked there as a Mentoring of America salesman selling this garbage yourself, what would be your best advice in telling people what they need to do in order to get a full refund from Mentoring of America despite what they tell people about "no refunds"? Have I pretty much covered it all myself on these pages, or is there any other sold advice/suggestions that you can add to it that would be of benefit to my people who want their money back?

A response if you will.

I am a current employee of this company and have been for 3 years now. I have sold many, many people over the course of the last 3 years. Now the question is, what did I sell them? I personally sold them a opprotunity, not a dream. People, you only get out of something what you put into it. It isn't easy, it's not a get rich quick. It's a vehicle, nothing more. What you do with the vehicle is up to YOU! To say its a scam and have ex-MARKETERS posting here are kind of the pot call the kettle black, don't ya think? Did Mr. Salt Lake City just all of a sudden wake up and say "Hey, wait a minute?" People, perhaps if you put as much time and effort into following something through as well as you have posting information on this site, you might have seen better results. I know of many people who have made money with this system. But you know, this individual who posted this still doing what they were doing before, just with another Mentoring company. Its a industry tradition when parting ways, to do everything as QUICKly as possible, to derail the previous company to entice sales to the new one. Everyone is QUICK to respond that they lost the dream due to false promises. Its all about accountibility folks. No one made you decide to go this route, no one made you pull your Credit Card out and sign up. YOU DID!! If you don't see it as an opprotunity to better yourselfs, then why did you do it? I QUICKly stepped up to bat for this company for I have some integrity, at least enough not to drag names through the mud or slander anyone. I would be happy to debate anyone on this matter or any other matter posted here. I do allot of my shopping at Target so I won't see you around, but feel free to drop a line, and I will respond as QUICKly as possible.
