kay jeweler has charge me exhorbitant interest rated and late fees.

I called to make lower payment arrangements.  They would not allow that.

They are continually harrassing me by phone when my payment is late.

I explained that my financial situation has changed from when I bought the ring.

I will pay three times the amount for which I bought the ring by the time I am able to pay it off.

Right, Blame Them!

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Friday, October 18, 2013

You were presented with the contract BEFORE you signed it.  A smart consumer would READ the contract...determine if the terms are to their liking and if not, refuse to sign up to and including walking out and buying elsewhere.  Not reading the contract then whining and wailing AFTER the contract is signed is ridiculous.  Now your wailing includes how terrible it is their BILL COLLECTORS are after you because YOU won't pay on time!  Yes sir, spoken as a true SUBPRIME thinking SUBPRIME BORROWER!

First, this is what you get jumping into a relationship head first. YOU made the descion to get a ring. YOU signed the financial paperwork. No where in your contract does it say that they will give you a lower interest rate because your situation has changed. This is business. As such, you owe them money. To ask them to give a d**n about your personal issues is well above and beyond what they do. Its business, your personal issues DO NOT apply. I would suggest either getting a bank loan and paying them off as a bank will probably have a better interest rate or filing for bankruptcy.

Also its not harrasment WHEN YOU OWE THEM MONEY!!!! Given that YOU feel its harrasment, one can assume that you have trouble paying you bills. Perhaps you should just see about giving the ring back....
