My wife ordered over $200 worth of merchandise online from Kohls on 12/18, a week before Christmas 2009.  She was promised the items would arrive before the holiday, and has an email to prove it.  The items did not show.  She called Kohl's customer service more than 5 times and was told they were on the way, they would be shipped second day air, the items are coming any day now.  Actually a package of socks did come second day air on 12/24, the rest of the order never showed.

Over the next week she called and was lied to multiple times - we'll give you 15% off this order, the items are on the way, be patient, blah blah blah.

Finally on 12/30 she called UPS and they said the items on the tracking number kohls gave her were never shipped by kohls.  Then kohls finally admitted they screwed up, after 2 weeks of lies.  She asked them to ship us the items overnight, they could not do that.  They could not send them second-day air either.  They told her they could cancel the original order (up to 2 weeks to see credit on her account) and re-enter the order, charging her again (of course this will show up on your card instantly).

This is what Kohl's calls customer service - spend your hard-earned dollars elsewhere, friends.  Items I ordered from Macy's came SOONER than promised, even during the pre-Christmas rush.  Caveat Emptor !
