My wife and I never meant to use the timeshare weeks for vacation at NH Krystal Cancun Hotel. During the presentation we attended on June 14, 2008, it was advertised as a good financial investment. It was said that we can easily resell the property and make a profit on it. It was said that a brokerage firm will buy the timeshare from us for good money. All these statements turned out to be false. Specifically, your representative Deon Albertz promised during the presentation that by selling the timeshare through the brokers he knows we could get over $40,000 back during the next six months. Mr. Albertz said that we will not have to pay the maintenance fee.

My wife and I notified your office in Cancun in person about cancelling our contract during our vacation in Cancun before returning to the U.S. (within five-working days) and were told that the credit card will be credited back if we cancelled and that we could cancel after returning home by sending you a written notification. However, we later found that this was not true also.

To this date, I had not been able to sell any of the weeks I had. I had to pay $661.25 to the brokerage company that Mr. Albertz recommended (Regal Resales and Rentals).

It was promised during the presentation that we could get the hotel rates through RCI for a maximum of $59/day. This turned out to be false as well.
Now it is obvious that this deal was a scam, in which a timeshare purchase was advertised as an investment and discount travel deal.

Stay away from Krystal International Vacation Club!

It is a scam!

Timeshare Scam

AUTHOR: margaretsims90 - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 07, 2015

This company is one of the most fraudulent developers ins the timeshare industry. The only thing you can do is cancel your timeshare contract. I recommend you to visit  timesharescam.com/blog/119-timeshare-sales/, there is good information about these fraudulent companies.

Krystal International Vacation Club KIVC TIMESHARE Scam

AUTHOR: Aldobasset - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 27, 2008

My wife and I never meant to use the timeshare weeks from the Krystal International vacation Club (KIVC) for vacation at the NH Krystal Cancun Hotel. During a timeshare presentation we attended at that hotel on June 14, 2008, a timeshare purchase was advertised as a good financial investment. It was said that we could easily resell the timeshare weeks and make a profit on it. It was said that there was a high demand for timeshare units at this place because of its location nearby the Convention Center in Cancun, Mexico. All these statements turned out to be false. Specifically, the KIVC representative, Deon Albertz promised during the presentation that by reselling the timeshare weeks we could get over $40,000 back during the next six months.

After having buyer's remorse, my wife and I notified the KIVC office in Cancun in person about cancelling our contract during our vacation in Cancun the following day before returning to the U.S. (within five-working days) and were told that the credit card will be credited back if we cancelled and that we could cancel after returning home by sending them a written notification. However, we later found that this was not true also. To this date, I had not been able to sell any of the weeks from this timeshare scam.
