Lasik Vision Institute ripoff Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

The Lasik Vision Institute (LVI) Advertises 299 per eye then charges 1000 per eye. They took 1898.00 from me painted my face, put in eye drops, and then said I could get only one eye done because I had a scar on one eye 2 seconds before sugery after 5 hours of waiting. So, I said to give me my money back and they informed me that it would take 4-6 weeks for me to get my money back. My daughter and I told them that was unacceptable. I had to wait untill Monday from a Saturday and I called 5 time before I got a response. I had to call the Corp office 2 times. I finally got a promise of tomorrow (12/23/03) for a credit. They lie, switch & bate, and never return calls.
