Bought a Durabrand portable dvd player from walmart for a x-mas gift.
battery charger nor a/c adapter nor car adapter will not charge battery nor will it play while plugged in. contacted walmart who told me product only had 15 day warranty and to contact Lenoxx.
So I tried calling and number is no longer in service and e-mail address does'nt work either. how do companys do business this way ?this makes
wal-mart look bad also.

call walmart corporate and demand they exchange them.

Several things to remember ..
durabrand is trademarked by walmart, lenoxx was just a supplier. Walmart knew lenoxx could not honor the warrantee when they sold the product. They had to have known they were out of business. Lenoxx went under in December of 2007.
they missrepresented a material aspect of a product, that being that there was warrantee when they knew there was no one to honor it.
Walmart has agree to exchange mine for one of equal or lesser value (I assume would also credit me the full amount for one of higher value, which I will likely get)
