I bought a Portable DVD player from Wal-Mart on Labor Day weekend to go in the car for my daughter to watch. One evening we plugged it in to the lighter in the car to charge it and the device melted its self within 30 mins of charging. We have tried contacting Lenoxx Electronics and they have disappeared, the address on the back of the DVD player is no good. The phone number has been disconnected with no more information to contact them. Wal-Mart will not except the device because of thier return policy, and they say to return it to Lenoxx Electronics but can not provide me with a correct address or phone number. Its like they have disappeared with no trace.

Several things to remember ..
durabrand is trademarked by walmart, lenoxx was just a supplier. Walmart knew lenoxx could not honor the warrantee when they sold the product. They had to have known they were out of business. Lenoxx went under in December of 2007.
they missrepresented a material aspect of a product, that being that there was warrantee when they knew there was no one to honor it.
Walmart has agree to exchange mine for one of equal or lesser value (I assume would also credit me the full amount for one of higher value, which I will likely get)
