I decided to change energy suppliers after numerous calls from 3rd party Power broker. Had service under Frontier Power which I opted out of when offered lower rate through above mentioned Liberty Power. Received early termination bill from frontier for $110. Called and opted back in to waive fee received call today from above mentioned Liberty Power which I've read online maybe a scam company? They are billing me $230 early termination fee. I asked if anything could be done due to my husband & I being seniors with only SS checks as income. The representative said "can only waive if opt back into contract with them. Called other power supplier gentleman said they could opt me out but would have to pay the original $110 to them. Not sure what my options would be. I am only looking into this because just read article online that this Liberty Power Corporation may be a scam

You either pay or take the hit on your credit. WHich means the price is going to go UP! With each company that buys YOUR debt the adminstration costs add to the bill. While its understandable to want to save money where you can, the REALITY is that YOU JUST DIDNT READ! And PLEASE dont pull that "Were too old" BS. YOU didnt read the fine print. Which means YOU were NOT fully informed when YOU signed AND agreed to ALL of the terms involved. YOU have ripped yourself off. YOU didnt NEED any help to rip yourself off you did it WILLINGLY!! You read a article online but CANT read the terms and conditions. PLEASE take responsibility for YOUR actions instead of blaming OTHERS for what YOU WILLING DID!
