Liberty Power Fraud and lies InternetFt. Lauderdale, Florida

 One of these Liberty Power "Door Knockers" came to my house about a two weeks ago. He told me he needed an electric bill to
 do an audit and show us how much money Liberty Power could save us. I have to admit, at the time I was suspicious of him. I
 wanted to tell him to take a hike; but, I've been told that that is impolite! I provided him with the electric bill, thinking that he could not really do anything with the information.

He asked me to sign something. I definitely should have told him to take a hike then. Nothing was ever mentioned about
changing electric companies, just an audit to show how much Liberty power could save us. Infact, I made it clear that I am not
 the one who pays the electric bill. A week later we got a letter saying we have switched to Liberty power. When my mother called them, Liberty Power told her it would cost $200.00 to undo this new contract wich I did not know I signed.

I would normally have simply thrown that letter away, thinking that it's the audit that the "Door Knocker" told me about. Liberty Power was counting on that. Later I read in this website:

This article indicated that Liberty Power puts such undo pressure on its sales people so as to make such deceptive and fraudulent behavior inevitable!

He should have read the contract! In-fact, I was given nothing to read. No mention was given to a contract changing power companies and the part where the writing was, was covered up. If anyone knocks on your door from Liberty Power tell him (or her) to take a hike and don't worry about being polite!
