Have sent in for rebate but not recieved any thing? Have you tried to go to Lowes.com/Rebates to find out about your rebate status but cannot find your information? Have you tried to call the 1-800 number only to find out they have no record of your rebate? Have you just given up on the fight?

That's the way LOWES wants it to be, otherwise they would give you the rebate at the counter when you make the purchase like a reputable company instead of running the bureaucratic scam that is impossible to win.

There should be a class action suit against LOWES and every other store like it. The only problem is the only winners would be the lawyers!!!

FALSE

AUTHOR: lindsayanneadtr - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 04, 2014

I am a current employee of Lowes. People are mistaken. The rebates are not through Lowes. We are just the middle man for the manuf.

We sell the product and provide the rebate slip.

The slip is then submitted to our rebate center where they contact the maufac. to do the rest.

Rebate problems can be resolved

AUTHOR: Tired Of Theifs - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 15, 2008

I had a rebate offer for the full price of delivery - $ 79.00 but when I got the card it was for only $ 59.00.

I called the store and they gave me a phone number to the rebate center and also told me if I didn't get a satisfactory answer there to bring my card and a copy of the rebate form to the store and they would make it good.

Other than being on hold for about 20 minutes, I was very satisfied - they are mailing me an additional card for the balance and apoligized for the error.

This is a Promotion?

AUTHOR: Bob - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 07, 2005

You may be interested in learning that this promotion is being run by Continental Promotions Group (Look for their copyright notice near the bottom of the Lowe's Rebate page). It reads "Copyright CPG, Inc...." Their web site is http://www.cpginc.com They have run promotions for many, many companies with many of them offering "rebates" too. From my experiences with them, they are batting 0% with major problems on two rebates out of two submitted to different companies and ending up at CPG, Inc. On one of the rebates, they denied it saying that I had not supplied a UPC code (a software download was purchased online - no UPC available). I pointed out that an online purchase also qualified and did not require a UPC code. The second rebate was "lost" - I demanded to talk to the person's supervisor who "resolved" the problem. We'll see on both of these.

How I Fixed My rebate problem ..using their rebate status website is pointless

AUTHOR: Patrick - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 07, 2003

I submitted a lowes rebate in june for a $50 rebate. In November, I received a $40 gift card. After checking the rebate status online and emailing the rebate status site atleast 20 times asking for help, the only response i recieved was "Your rebate was sent on this day". They never acknowledged the $10 difference and eventually stopped responding to me.

My last hope to recoup my full amount was to email customer service on the lowes.com website. I emailed the customer service area that was for comments about stores. The next day I recieved the following email.

----email from wecare@lowes.com -----
Thank you for writing Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse.

Two days later I recieved a call on my voicemail from "Fran with lowes rebate center" and told me it was a printer error that it said $50 but still printed a check for $10 difference and sent it. I'm not sure of her position, but she did have enough authority to remedy the situation. The # on my caller ID from when she called was 480-606-9541

I've realized that using their rebate status website is pointless and a waste of time. If you want your situation taken care of, sometimes you have to go around bureaucratic BS and to those in charge instead of a bunch of customer service reps who have no interest your satisfaction. I hope this information is helpful.
