Miss McCurry believes in disrespecting her employees who are also military veterans of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom by making false allegations against their character in order to terminate them and outsource their positions to a third party delivery service. Miss McCurry knew that she was going to the third party delivery service but instead of advising the delivery department of this change and accommodating the members in other store positions she instead fired everyone five days prior to the new service beginning.
One member was an 11 year veteran of the U.S Army and Operation Desert Storm with an Honorable Discharge. A second member was a four year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard with an Honorable Discharge and a six year veteran and current member of the Florida National Guard and Operation Enduring Freedom also with an Honorable Discharge.

That is Why People Don't Trust Corporations

The bottom line is this corporations reserve the right to run their businesses the way they see fit to ensure a return to their investors. However there is a right way and wrong way of doing things after all they management are the first ones to preach ethics. The correct way of handling this situation would have been to give everyone in the department a two week notice that their positions are being outsourced as they expect employees to do for them regardless if the employee is a veteran or not.
Therefore the employee could either agree to accept another position within a store in the district or leave under his or her own free will. Instead they pull these types of shady practices to save a buck then go around preaching thank you for your service. These people are so fake and plastic and they speak out of both sides of their mouth.

that this would not have happened to them...right? What proof do you have that this wouldn't have happened to ANYBODY in their outsourced job? How many of these released people were NON veterans? Were you or your friend(s) part of this? Looks like Lowes has a good policy of hiring veterans and you've taken it on yourself to claim mis-treatment and bias now. NO, I DON'T work and have never worked for Lowes.
