I applied for a credit card and was issued a temportary card and proceeded to purchase cabinets in the Decatur Lowe's store. The clerk worked very hard designing the kitchen and helping us select the cabinets. The price was $6014.00 and the credit limit on our card was $3000. The clerk tried to get the credit line increased but without success. I have other credit cards with much higher limits than this and if they had made a check they would have seen they are paid monthly. The company has advertised 0 payments and interest for 6 months, and I was going to use this to delay or prevent withdrawing from my savings. I purchased the cabinets on my Discover credit card because the clerk had worked hard and done his job. I will receive 2 Lowes credit cards that are useless to me in the mail so I will destroy them and use a different supplier in the future.

Huh?

So, is your complaint that they only gave you a $3000 limit on your credit card? Did they tell you that you'd have an unlimited amount of credit? If they had 0 payments and interest on their card, then I would have put $3000 on their card and the rest on another. At least you'd defer half of the bill. Sorry, I don't see a problem here.
