I responded to a link about a Shark Tank product.  Actually the name on that product was Luxure.  It offered a trial of a skincare cream for free, just pay shipping and handling in the amount of $4.98.

There was no trial period listed, no auto ship, or anything like that.

I figured, what the heck. Give it a try, support people trying to get started in the industry.

I filled out the order form on line.  There was no indication of a trial period of 14 days. REceived my confirmation email, that actually said LunaLuxe.  Again there was nothing on the email indicating there was a 14 day trial period.

REceived the product a few week later. I had just had an issue with a face cream that I had purchased before, so I never even tried the stuff.  Put it in my cupboard and forgot about it.

15 days later I received a charge on my credit card for 89.97.  I disputed the charge with the credit card company.  They reversed it off immediately and credited my card back the amount and also gave me a new card.

I contacted the company via email telling them I had never agreed to auto shipment and that I was disputing the charge and have never received another product.  I still didn't understand that the 89.97 charge was for the original shipment they sent me.

They sent me an email saying I had agreed to a 14 day trial period and since I never contacted them I was responsible for the amount.  I said to them that I never agreed to that and that I was disputing and cancel any further shipments if they planned to send them to me.  They gave me a cancellation number.

Last week I received a call from my credit card company saying they needed additional information on my dispute.  I finally was able to talk to them today.  I explained my situation, and that I never agreed to any 14 day trial period.  They said they would continue to deny the charge and uphold my dispute.

I also sent the LunaLuxe company, the link to the website I used and told them to check it out for themselves, that their is no indication of being charged an additional 89.97, or that I had to contact them about cancelling a trial period.

They came back and again said I signed up for a 14 day trial offer on their full 30 day supply.  They said my bank charged back the money and my account is closed.

I am hoping that this is the last of it.
