MajicJack Majic Jack Majic Jack is Evil , Internet

I would like to share with others so you won't go through what I did.
When I received majicjack I could make calls and not receive them.  I went to their online support.  You cannot reach them by phone. You can only talk to them online after purchase.
.  They told me I needed to transfer my phone number to magic jack.  I asked them if this would disrupt my dsl as it comes through my phone line.  I was told it would not. I asked them to transfer my phone number.  They said it would not.  I was afraid I was talking to someone offshore who didn't know what they were talking about, my fears came true.
A few days later I had no dial tone no dsl.  The magic jack would now not work.  Nor did I have dsl.  This was a big inconvenience to me as I sell on Amazon and Ebay.

I talked to their online support by going to Starbucks with my laptop.  They told me how to properly configure majic jack. I did what they said to do. Still no dial tone and dsl. Back to Starbucks with my laptop.  Logged onto majgc jack support again.  This time I was told the the no dial tone must be the wiring in my house and they had nothing to do with DSL.
I was left with no phone and no dsl.  I called their billing department.  (The only phone number I could find online.) Majic Jack was getting increasingly hostile with me as I was starting to panic. They told me they could not talk to me regarding my account and only online support could help me. They did not. This is the outcome.

My phone provider had to come back out to my house three days later on a rush basis to give us a new phone number.  (MagicJack now owns my old phone number.) If I want it I have to buy it back.
We still don't have our DSL back on that is in three more days....Horrible Company.
