Do you mean DTA?

If you mean that you need a DTA box to view those channels then unfortunately, this is the future. Could be worse, they could have moved ALL of their channels to a digital range as some have, requiring you to A: Either have a digital qam tuner set, or B: DTA's.
The digital transition has occured, long before and even after it happened the nation was told that their old, non-digital TV's, will be obsolete. Meaning you would either need a DTA box to view content or you would need to purchase a new Television. Thanks to the loophole of simulcasting many cable companies skirted the digital deadline by changing the now mandatory digital signal to analog, buying those who don't have advanced sets time. This however will soon evaporate and you will need a new set or a DTA which you can rent, or purchase yourself.
Think of it this way...if you moved to Europe all of your appliances would be useless because America uses a different voltage standard. Meaning you would need an adaptor or a new appliance which is compatible...same kind of thing going on here.
