Mobile Solutions fraudulently charged my account for unpaid services. The sales representative that opened my account intentionally withheld information in order to get me to sign a new contract. The sale representative falsely claimed their was a promotional event and that I would receive an additional phone free if I upgraded my cellar plan. After initially paying $52.45 for the phone, I was assured that I would receive a rebate for 49.99. In addition, the sale representative failed to inform me that he had placed a second line on my plan. The line was never activated but T-mobile charged me a $200 cancellation fee. After canceling services with T-Mobile, Mobile Solutions billed my account for $250, three months after I canceled my contract. Please, anyone within the East Lansing area don't do business with Mobile Solutions

#5 Consumer Suggestion

I'd stay away from the Mobile Solutions

There is honestly no reason why anybody should go through the Mobile Solutions. Sure, you may save a LITTLE bit up front, but why not go directly through the service provider's Corporate Stores? You get employees of the company directly that know the product, not some middle man who is trying to sneak in some microscopic text on top of a contract you're already signing.

Any time I've had to deal with the mobile solutions, they've always been about the money and trying to sneak their way a little more commission.

Next time you have to do something about your phone, go to T-mobile and find a store closest to you, or call customer support from another phone than the one having the problem. It'll save you a great deal of stress.

Down with the middle man!!

First off mame, im sorry for the inconvience that may have been caused, but i find it funny that you got charged 200 dollars for a line never activated? T-Mobile wouldnt charge you 200 dollars for a cancelled line if it was authorized trust me i worked for The Mobile Solution for almost 2 years, i have cancelled peoples lines after 4 or 5 months claiming it was unathorized add on without being charged a 200 dollar penalty "FROM T-MOBILE" So what i suspect happened was that you never got your 49.99 dollar rebate got upset, and cancelled your current line that you say you cancelled and were charged 200 dollars, cause if you say you had 2 lines you would of been charged 400 dollars, no offense your math didnt add up right. 2nd of all you being charged only 250 from the mobile solution proves you only got an upgrade because when you buy through the mobile solution you sign stating that you will allow us to charge your credit card we imprint if you dont stay in contract for the next 121 days/ 4 months and that charge will be for 250, for upgrades it will only be a 250 charge for add ons its the charge of the phone plus the renewal of the contract, so everything you pretty much said was a lie about the company you just need to learn to read your contract right next time, dont be sour cause you got stiffed 50 bucks, you prolly didnt even send off for the mail rebate for 50 bucks did you?
