Motel 6 Stolen Driver's License Clinton Iowa

When I checked in I was asked for an ID. I offered my driver's license. The manager, Betty, did not give it back and I did not realize it. She did not call my room to tell me she had it or return it when I checked out.

I called the next day and she said she would overnight it to a motel where I had reservations. When I arrived there it had not. I called and Betty said it would be delivered that day. I still did not get it.

I called the police. An officer called me back, said Betty told him it had been sent to my home. It never arrived. I e-mailed Motel 6 and was told it was a franchise and they could do nothing.

I called BBB and have yet to hear from them. It is obvious that Betty deliberately stole my driver's license. She refuses to return it. The motel was dirty, hot, pool closed, and no internet connection.
