Nationwide Van Lines OVER CHARGED DECEIT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THREATENED plantation Florida

Nationwide Van Lines ( NVL ) was hired to move my items from MA to FL on June 29th. They arrived 3 hours late and took all day to load our belongings. The scam started when @ 1am with a driveway full of items , they advised my wife that we were WAY over the estimate and that we would need to write them a check for 2000.00 immediatky or the remaining items would not be loaded into the ruck. So we were left no choice but to comply.

Upon arriving in FL we discovered that in the space that we were being charged for there was the crews personal belongings as well as a large TV armoire. When my wife inquired about the armoire, she was told that it belonged to one of the crew and was given to them by another customer, but we were charged for that space that equaled  over 100 cubic feet. We were being charged 4.00 a cubic foot for this move.

We have been trying to reach a settlement with NVL for over a month now. They have told us that they would ONLY settle for 500.00, which is a total rip off. I posted a negative review on their Facebook page and have been threatened with legal action for expressing my concerns with their business practices. I am being extorted by NVL and have been told that until I take down my negative reviews, that they will not settle.
