NC Furniture Buy Direct DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY, MAYBE THIS COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE FURNITURE THEY ADVERTISE ripoff High Pointe North Carolina

In January of 2005 I ordered the Hunters Hideaway Bunk Bed from ncfurniturebuydirect.com. I was so excited about finding this particular bed because it had a ramp and a tent underneath it so that my chihuahua could play. It cost me $337.00 including shipping costs. I actually took the bus to the Mall of NH on my lunch hour to purchase a Simon Visa card and when I came back from lunch and went back on ncfurniturebuydirect.com website, the item that I wanted was marked up and I had to go downstairs to the post office and buy a money order for the remainder of the items'price.

I actually completed my order with a sales associate and he instructed me on how to fill my order over the internet and I would get an order number after the process. I didn't get an order number but he got my money and somehow the phone conversation trailed off and he was gone.

When I check on the simonvisagiftcard website, this company tried to put the total amount on the simon visa card even after I told him their wasn't enough money on the visa. Maybe he was trying to steal money from my credit card, too.

To this date I haven't received the item or a refund from this company - no phone call or letter of explanation of where my order is from this company. Their website (before it was closed down) did not work maybe because they knew they were stealing money from people. You know, there are so many businesses that are allowed to do this and get away with it that I figure that I must be a jerk for sitting all day at my daytime job trying to earn an honest paycheck when I could be out there doing something like this to help pay my bills and rent. I must be a real jerk.

Through research, I found out that Sun Deliveries is the furniture deliverer for this company but I didn't want to contact them because I didn't think that I should do the work for ncfurniturebuydirect.com. I thought it was their job and they would get me my furniture - after all, I paid for the furniture. Right now I just want my $337.00 back and I don't want the furniture I ordered anymore - besides I've read other consumer stories about this company and their furniture was delivered broken and unacceptable.
