I ordered a chair from salesperson Sheryl Spece on April 30th, 2005. It was supposed to arrive by July 23rd, according to the e-mail I received. I called Ms.Spece, to inform her the chair had never arrived. She told me she would check with the manufacturer, and to call her back in a couple days.I called her back on August 2nd, and during our conversation, she stated she was going to have to check with accounts receivable to see if the chair had even been ordered. I told her I was not going to wait another 12 weeks for another chair and to just cancell my order, and credit my credit card.I have called numerous times, but I'm told she is out to lunch, in a meeting, off that day, or with a customer, and I'm given her voice mail.And get this, she was given the job of being the boss in Customer Service.I asked the employee in customer service to give me Ms. Spece's Supervisor and she told me, Ms. Spece had no boss over her. I was able to talk to a Candace, who said she was helping Ms. Spece out. I told her I was going to file a dispute with my credit union, and she told me " to do whatever I had to do." Of course she knew that you have to file a dispute within 60 days, and they had strung me along for months. I did write an e-mail to the NC Attorney General, and a Consumer Advocate with a NC television station, BBB, and our local Consumer Advocate. Haven't heard back from anyone yet. I ordered the chair from another company and received it in 5 days.

A Demeitres W. called me the other day from NC Furniture Buy Direct. He said he was the new Sales Manager, and that he was revamping the place. Evidently he got one of the faxes I have been sending twice a week with the RIPOFF report on it addressed to Ms. Speces. On the last one I told her she was going to be on TV. He appoligized for my inconveniences over the refund I was due. I told him if he was revamping, he needed to get rid if MS. Spece who blocked my e-mails and phone calls. Seems Candace, her cronie in lies and promises has already left. I asked him, What about the others that have been taken for a ride? He said, tell them to call me. He called from this number 336-885-6022. Keep faxing them with your Ripoff Report.It is fax #336-885-5088.

I wrote a letter to Greensboro Tv station WFMY-TV, telling them about NC Furniture Buy Direct. They sent the complaint to an agency called Call For Action. They are professional volunteers, free, and assist consumers until problems are resolved amd mediated. The volunteer owns your case till it is resolved, and they have a 90% rate of getting your money back.Their phone number is 301-657-8260. Callforaction.org is the web site. I sent her all my paperwork today as she requested. I hope to give everyone some good news eventially.Also I have been faxing Sheryl twice a week my ripoff report. She has me blocked from calling her or e-mailing her, but I guess she can't block the fax machine. It is 336-885-5088. My e-mail is Kentuckyglass@bellsouth if you want to contact me. I HAVE DECLARED WAR on this company. Even contacted FBI and Federal Trade Commision, NC Attorney General, and others.
