NCO Financial Systems They hung up on me....I told them I wasn't paying Horsham Pennsylvania

I recieved a letter from NCO Financial Systems Inc, Feb. 11, 2009. I called the number right away to figure out why I owe $141.92. The repersentive answered the phone, and he asked for the last four of my SSN. I said Im not giving it to you, and he read them off and my name. He said "we could settle this for $92.25." I said "I do not have a job." Then he tells me I can post date a check. I said "that would be funny, because my check would bounce." I said "Man, you are full of good ideas, why don't you tell me who I owe this money too." He said "December 16, 2006, you opened a Bank of America account and failed to pay the fees." I said "the issue was handled three years ago and has been disputed. I handled everything and I do not owe any money to BOA." He kept telling me I could post date a check, and NCO has been trying to contact you for quit some time now. I said "you have been trying to contact me for three years?" He said " no, since feb. 2nd of 2009" I laughed and said, "first of all, this is my first letter, second of all I do not have a job, third of all I'm not paying you any money, why would Bank of Amrerica just now, after 3 years put me in a collection agency. I told him I have paperwork proving my dispute and that I no longer owe BOA any money. He said thanks for calling and hung up on me.

I find it weird, in July 2008, I purchased a new vehicle and took out a consolidation loan. Wouldn't this "collection" show up on my credit report. I probably would not have been approved for the loans.
