NCO Financial Systems Unfair Privacy Infringement Horsham Pennsylavania

When I went to pay a Nicor Gas bill I was three days late on, I used a credit card service that Nicor has in place which is in fact NCO Financial Systems INC.

When reading through the privacy statement which I like most people hardly ever read! I came upon something Dishonest that NCO was doing with all personal information they collected during this transaction. They were using any Information gathered to pursue debt placed for collections with NCO and any of their third party agents. They also say that they can share this info with any number of agencies in the pursuit of this debt. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks!!!! I had payed My Nicor bill during a similar situation about 1 year ago, just shortly there after the wife and I started getting a ton of collection calls from NCO and other collection agencies about debt's that dated back to before we got married 11 years ago! Turns out NCO bought that debt and then enacted collection proceedings, including Dinging Our Credit Reports with negatives. This has cost us a fortune in so much as that our Insurance rates have almost doubled. I cant get a credit card nor purchase a home or car with out paying a greater Apr Or Apy then if we had moderate credit! They Have no right to pursue debt in the state where I live which is over 6 years old. Yet they do so with no regard for the law or personal rights.

If anyone knows how to get this to stop please post it! This can help others who are currently trying to pay their bills in good faith and getting screwed by Illegal tactic's
