Netscape Internet Service Deceptive Billing Practices RipOff Internet

This is the most horrible ISP provider I have dealt with in my entire life. Worse than (((ROR redacted competitor's name))) . I signed up in Feb 2007 for a 30-day risk free trial. After 2 weeks I decided I didnt like the service (too slow). We signed up for cable internet that week. I tried to log-in & cancel my Netscape service & was not able to login even though I used the correct password & username. I didnt have a number to call either. Well this week I get billed on my PayPal account for $19.77 to Netscape. Keep in mind I already paid Netscape $10 last month for a 'free trial'.

I called the 866 number on my transaction details. The Netscape rep was obviously foreign & very hard to understand. I explained to him I havent used the service in 2 weeks & wanted my $20 bucks refunded because I will not be using their service another month. He was very rude & tried to tell me I signed up for a one year contract which is total BS. I asked him why the current bill was $19.77 when the service I signed up for is supposed to be $9.99 and he got even more rude & started saying some stuff I couldn't understand. (he sounded Indian) But he wasnt able to give me a legit reason why I was being overcharged, or why I had to pay for another month of service that I will not even be using. I told him to cancel the service. This company is dishonest & just as bad, if not worse than (((ROR redacted competitor's name. I just hope the dirty dogs dont take another $20 from me next month.
