*Consumer Comment: Wait a minute...
I went out of town at the beginning of December and I let someone houses it for me....I called Netspend on Dec 17, 2015....in order to see if my deposited my check in the Amount of $729. I came back on 12/24/2015 and found these charges on my account that weren't mine. I already knew what to do shut down the card and give them a call to file a dispute. I have been emailing these people ever since no response just a runaround. Someone please help I just want my money

If I read your account correctly. You let someone house sit, and part of this was you giving them access to your account to see if a check was deposited. Then when you returned you found a lot of charges you did not make.
You did this in Mid-December, so you may not have waited long enough. Many banks can take anywhere from 30-60 days to investigate a dispute. Which means that it could be Feburary before you get an answer.
But here is the Sixty-Four Thousand Dollar question.....was it your housesitter who made these charges?
If the answer is yes, I hate to break this to you but the chances of them approving your dispute and crediting your money back is almost zero. There are a couple of reasons. First, true or not, it is often seen that you knew of the charges and are trying to defaud the company. Second, you were negligent in giving someone else access to your account.
Unfortunatly the only thing you can often do in this case is to file a police report, have your "house sitter" arrested and if it goes to trial and they get convicted hope that the judge orders them to pay you back. If not you will have to sue them in Civil court.
Now, even if your house sitter didn't do it, the fact that you gave your card out still shows negligence on your part and will make it many times tougher to get them to agree to your dispute.
