I purchased a refurbished tablet on 12/03/2014 from Newegg.com for $29.99. I paid $9.99 via PayPal and used a $20.00 Newegg Gift Card. On 12/08/14 I received a tablet cover for the tablet I had ordered. 12/08/2014 Waited 30mins to Chat with CS rep Gabriel W. who indicated a replacement tablet would be sent within 5 business days since as per Newegg.com Iron Egg policy there were no refunds being offered for this item only a replacement. 12/15/2014 Waited 20mins to Chat with CS rep Selline J. who received authorization from her supervisor and asked which model I would like as a replacement. Then after 20mins of chatting the server suspiciously lost connection.

12/15/2014 Waited 50mins to Chat with CS rep Kurt L. who I had to explain to how Point of Sale software systems work (I'm employed as an Engineer for a little fruit company in Cupertino and ironically enough Newegg sells alot of the stuff we make!) and then there's a printed computer generated shipping label on the item I never ordered with several barcodes. Perhaps the tablet I paid for but never received has a similar label? If only all this information can be retrieved somehow....hey maybe even the very same device that initiated the printing of this label? So lets review: -Newegg POS software does not assign paid items to customer's accounts. -Newegg POS software may send you an item you never ordered. -Newegg Return/Replacement is only for customers to follow. They don't abide by their rules since they created them.

-The midnight shift CS team may need some training on their POS software/product training to up their skills on the very product they sell. The majority of your customers were IT support don't insult our intelligence and tell you're unable to retrieve shipping info and fire the consultant MBA who instructed you to say that. Newegg held me accountable for its error by refusing me a replacement and only refunding me $9.99 with $20.00 gift card now having a value of $0.00. -As per FTC guidelines shipping unwanted items to customers and only refunding 1/3 of what was paid is Mail Fraud. You should hear from them next week. In the event your systems are down I took screenshots of the chat conversations so there's no ambiguity or embellishments of what I was told by Newegg, chat wait times. Looking to forward to hearing from you...
