NLA RMA Loan Modification Scam St. Petersburg, Florida

A few months ago I was contacted by Oscar at NLA about a loan modification. Due to the situation I am currently in, I thought this would be a great opportunity to save my home. I filled out all of the necessary paper work from NLA and sent it back.

 I was then contacted by Diana from RMA regarding my modification. I had several questions for her regarding the services promised to me by Oscar. I asked her where the company was located and she told me New York. My understanding was that I was working with a lawyer in Florida. She told me that the processing center was in New York and she was from the processing center.

I had left several messages for my lawyer to call me back and had not heard anything for a few weeks. I was finally contacted by Candice. I explained to her my concerns since I had not heard from anyone in a few weeks. She assured me that she was working on my file. She even gave me her direct number at the office 6316721574. 

After not hearing from anyone prior to talking to Candice, I looked up this other company RMA. This company was also located in New York.

I was told in order to cancel I had to send a cancellation letter. I have since done this and have not had any satisfaction. Has anyone else heard of either of these offices? Are they the same? Have I been scammed.

 I see that there are numerous complaints against RMA and I am scared that they are the same company. I have seen on other reports that RMA has changed their name several times. Is this just another name change?
