the above tells the story well.

Household Movers was hired  to pack up my house that had sold and put all in storage while I built another. I was out of town at the time of the move.

I trusted them, had used them three times before with success.

This time, they left many items behind in the house, and damaged many more.

When reported to the owner, inflated bills and charges appeared, from 1500.00 to 2000.00 in bogus fees  were billed to me, charges they refused to explain or itemize.

I was pushed to pay up, with no explanation.

They then threatened an auction. I called a lawyer.

The lawyer stopped the auction, but got nowhere in negating the false charges and settling the matter.

Small claims  court was a joke, as they all collectively lied and the judge believed it.

The bill sat at 1500.00 last summer following a 3500.00 payment.  I  needed my stored items, but HHM refused to release them to me and  continued to bill for storage and interest at large amounts!

They now state I owe them 5600.00 all from storage although I did not require storaget , they refused  to give me belongings back and billed me for it

They are threatening to auction again if I do not pay 5600.00 by September 16.

Sign my petition and do not use North American van Lines and Household Movers. North American hung up in  my ear, they refuse to step in and stop the extortion.

My 500.00 move so far has cost me 10,000, and now they want 5600.00 more!!

How's that for a rip off?
