Oakwood Acceptance Corp ripoff,added insurance,high interest rates,lied about assumptiom program,depreciation of home.harrassing phone calls Greensboro North Carolina

I have read alot of the complaints that you all have.I am in a different sitiuation.Oakwood says they want to help people that help themselves and are in good standing with them,well I am, well actually my wife is.You see, she purchaced a home from the Raliegh store and since then has moved it to Monroe NC.at the time of purchace she knew what she was buying "A TRAILER "but also thought it was temporary.At that time she was told that we could sell it, or put it into their assumption program if the home is still financed with OAC.Since then we have gotten married and built a house.Anyways my complaint with OAC is that we were told that they have a assumptiom program from serveral dealers in NC but when we appraoch OAC they say they have never heard of such a thing.Also we were told if we made our payments on time they would reduce our interest rate.She purchaced it in 12/98 and has never been late,but still they wont refinance to a cheaper rate.Also we have tried to sell it but its worth less than 15k and we still owe almost 30k.So the trailer has been sitting in our backyard for almost 1 1/2 years unoccupied and for sale.since we do not live in it ,no insurance company will give us insurance on a unoccupied home.So OAC gave us insurance at a jacked up astronomical amount which we pay every month.And god forbid if the payment isnt there on the due day,phone calls from some stupid machine telling us to call them about our payment.BUT ITS NEVER BEEN LATE.So "Oakwood Acceptance Corp".If your true to your word in wanting to help people who are in good standing.Then be true to your word.Or was that just a sales pitch?
